Hawaiian fried rice
This recipe was developed by Chef Eric Benedict at the University of Wisconsin Madison during one of our product trainings.

Serving size: 10 ounces
Ingredients
2 ounces sesame oil
8 ounces OmniPork Luncheon (vegan spam), cooked and crumbled
6 ounces pineapple, diced
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger puree
1 ounce jalapeno, diced
1 ounce scallion, sliced
1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped
2 ounces carrot, shredded
2 ounces JUST egg folded, diced
20 ounces cooked rice, chilled
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Preparation
- Heat oil over high heat in a sauté pan. Add garlic and ginger. Cook until aromatic.
- Add jalapeno, vegan spam, scallion, carrot, JUST egg folded, and pineapple. Continue to cook and stir.
- Fold in rice and soy sauce. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Divide into four equal servings and garnish with the cilantro. Serve hot.
