Hot n Spicy Crab Cakes
This recipe was developed by the chefs at Oklahoma State University during one of our product trainings.

Serving Size: 3 ounces
Ingredients
2 tablespoons vegan mayo
3 tablespoons dijon mustard
2 teaspoon Kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 cup scallions, chopped
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/2 cup red onion, diced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cups spicy chips, such as Takis, crushed
2 1/2 pounds Hungry Planet ground crab
3 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation
- Mix all ingredients in bowl expect for the chips and olive oil.
- Place chips in a plastic bag. Roll with rolling pin to crush. Place crushed chips in a large bowl or plate.
- Mold 3 ounce patties. Roll in the chip crumbs.
- Heat pan with olive oil. Place patties on pan and cook both sides until they reach internal temperature of 165.
- Serve immediately.
