Ingredients
For brownie
- 3 cups Beans, Black, canned, drained, rinsed
- 1 cup Sugar, White, granulated
- 1 cup Applesauce
- 2/3 cup Cocoa Powder, unsweetened, unsifted
- 4 each Bananas, fresh, peeled, mashed
- 1 tablespoon Vinegar, Distilled White
- 1 tablespoon Extract Vanilla
- 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
- 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Salt, Kosher
- 1 1/2 cups Oats, Quick, dry
- 1 cup Vegan Chocolate Chips, 4M count
Instructions
For brownie
- In high power blender, combine beans, sugar, applesauce and cocoa powder. Mix on med/high until smooth.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, vinegar, vanilla, baking powder and soda and salt.
- Combine cocoa mixture, banana mixture and oats with a spatula. Mix well.
- Heat oven to 375°F. Spread mixture in greased half hotel pan, evenly sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Bake for 30 minutes.
For service
- Cut cooled brownies in half hotel pan into 12 even portions.Can be wrapped and refrigerated for grab and go for up to 5 days.

* Using gluten free oats would make this recipe gluten free
